Well, it's the best looking electric car I've ever seen, but its range would be barely adequate for some real world trips I've done inside the M25 ring.

What's practicality got to do with things

VW Group need to forget the guff on the ID / Buzz or what ever they say is the future at £40,000 or more, 

break out the Body stamping machinery from Mexico, recycle some of those thousands of buy backs, be green,  and produce a few classic EV's to give to those they cheated as a gesture, as well as cash / money compensation.

The German authorities will let some Construction & Use rule breaking slip, they know when a blind eye needs turning.

Tbf george, thats a very clever idea..

 

And othrr manufacturers could do it too

Ford could bring back the capri, with an ev power pack..

Imagine a chevy stingray running on batteries instead of a v8

If that Porsche can have a 200 mile range surely something is wrong with the VW Group not having that range yet from some smaller models,

say a Polo / Fabia.

 

Then the likes of a EV MX5 / Fiat 124 Spider.

Older cars would probably do better because they will be lighter.

I do wonder how long it will be before you're able to simply swap your current ICE for a electric motor. Kind of like when you see these futuristic films and they have old cars with something attached to replace the old engine.
