How to identify flashing files

Hi,

 

I have downloaded flash files for Skoda, now how to identify which files to use for flashing.

 

I have Octavia Pre FL and below are my hardware and software

Can I use above mentioned flash files to flash respective modules?

I would not suggest you flash BMM software on a BXE engine.

I guarantee that flashing the latest MK60EC1 software on a MK60 ABS unit will brick it. That would brick most MK60EC1 units as well!

 

Only flash modules as instructed from a TSB/TPI from VAG.

 

Anything else is not supported and has a very real risk of bricking the module you're flashing. Unless you have money to burn on replacement units, I'd suggest you only perform flashes that others have confirmed work...

From where can i get TSB/TPI list?

It should be possible to get a list for your VIN from https://erwin.skoda-auto.cz/ it'll cost about €7 + VAT for an hours access.

 

Otherwise, you're relying on other people posting the TSB/TPI or a friendly dealer providing a list.
