Evening all.  I'm new to the skoda family and modern cars, so i hope someone can answer my question. Sorry if its been asked already.

I have a 2015 octavia scout and twice now the fan had stayed on after turning the engine off but only when ive made a short journey on a frosty morning. 0 to 3 c. Is this normal.

If it is a diesel engine and the idle speed is 1000 at the time you switch off the fan is running, because the regen is running. Short journeys is a problem with modern diesels.

Cheers Moley. Thats good to know. Yes. The idle speed is at 1000 when it does this.
