quick question for anyone that might know would the boot lid on my 2011 fabia is corroding around the number plate screw holes...

would that be covered by the skoda paint warranty?

It might be.  So have a dealership have a warranty manager look at it,  and make a report. See what Skoda UK says.   We're there metal screws used to hold the number plate,  or does it look like the holes were ever drilled/ enlarged from how the car came from the factory,  that would stuff up a warranty claim.   What colour car?

One of the first things I did when I bought the car (fortunately brand new) was to remove the rear dealer number plate, seal-up the screw holes and fit new plates with adhesive pads.

yeah its red but I only realised when I changed my plates which are now on with plate tape but they were metal screws in there when I had bought it. I will have to go to the garage and ask but it just means it will be a little bit of a pain having to pull the plate tape off to show them.
