Has anyone done any kind of work under the bonnet? This seems to me like the sensors have been disconnected and not properly re-attached ... also, the reported date doesn't make sense (2079.14.13) ... the intake air sensor should be between the air filter box and the engine air intake, the boost sensor usually on the opposite side of the engine (I need to check the diagrams, not that familiar with TDI engines)

No there has not been any work  done. Yeah I seen that about the date is is a bit strange.  I had a look for the sensor but could not see it.  Maybe it is accessed from under the car.  The g31/g42 is the same sensor I have read and one error brings up the other.

Also read in this forum that the fault may be the  actuator on the turbo

So have had the car in the garage.  Changed three sensors and still the same. Love the car just a foot and flashing glow plug  and error messages. Got to take the car back on Monday.  I an ok if I want to drive at 50 miles and slow and no power going up hills

  • 4 weeks later...

I have the same issue-  changed both MAF & MAP sensor including turbo trust and air filter for good measure and problem/ faults still coming up immediately or shortly after moving.

FYI air temp and manifold absolute pressure(MAP) sensor is one sensor 03G906051E- located on the engine manifold, accessed from below(directly under alternator). As this is directly wired to ECU the only other options are wiring issues or ECU (apart from the sensor itself).

Another thing i could think of after loads of research is that it could be triggered by something else that affects air readings (o2 sensor?)or even DPF.- some indications  pointed  towards turbo actuator but i i checked operation and change trust anyways., so perhaps   turbo veins not moving freely

I taking my car to the independent specialist garage next week and hope that they can help with it..

Please let me know if you figure out what it is in meantime..
