Evening all. Has anyone done an engine swap?  I recently bought an already swapped Mk1 Fabia which was originally a 1.4 8v but now has a 2.0-16v Turbo. 
Other mods incl a Dta Ecu, A fairly large Turbonectics Turbo, Large front mounted Intercooler, a custom inlet chamber, catch can, some head work and some other upgrades.

The car was dynoed about 8 Yrs ago at 372 bhp and did an 11.7 quarter mile. All on standard non forged internals.

Since I purchased I have blown the gearbox and replaced with another 2.0 vag gearbox, standard and a few months later blew the main end bearings.

The car now been fully forged, pistons and rods and I’m still running it in, the idea is to crank it up to about 450-480bhp.

 

Now looking for larger brakes. Any suggestions?
