Any information on changing these will be very welcome. Firstly, where is it?

It's in the passenger side foot well behind the glove box.

 

Maybe try looking on the website of filter manufacturers, like Mann and Henste(sp) Mahle, often when you find "your" pollen filter, there will be a "fitting instructions" to keep you right.

    In the passenger footwell is a fibreboard cover. Pull it down and to your right are black plastic slides. Push the slides to release the cover to expose the filter. Pull out the filter. There is a film on Youtube in step-by-steps
