Sadly Paul Ritter passed away yesterday.

A very talented actor and taken well before his time.

I only knew him from FND but by all accounts he was a very talented stage actor and his career would likely have taken off now had he not passed away.

Yes, he was great in a comedy role such as the classic Friday Night Dinner, (my family’s favorite) but he also did stage as you say, and was talented in a serious role such as Anatoly Dyatlov in Chernobyl which is worth a watch if you can. 

 

I seem to remember him also being in one of the latest Star Wars films (or spin offs), but can’t see a credit for that.

 

Yes, same age as me, very sad loss.
