Sunglass holder / Interior Light dropping down

Featured Replies

I recently had to have a new heated windscreen fitted and ever since the Sunglass holder / Interior Light keeps dropping down. Having looked it doesnt seem to have any visible clips, so am not sure exactly what holds it in. I just push it back in and it stays until I hit another pothole and drops down again. This did not happen before having the new windscreen.

Is the whole thing dropping down?  If so it sound like its not been screwed back in properly as I believe there are 4 torx screws that hold it in...   One in each corner.  So two at the front behind the panel that has the two clear squares where the bulbs are and two underneath the panel around the 'assist' button and light.  Both panels should remove by gently prising them with a trim tool or small screwdriver.

Someone on here has changed the bulbs to LEDs recently and had some photos that showed them but I'm damned if I can find it now.

It is just dropping down at the front. Will have a look at the weekend. Fingers crossed the screws are still there!

This one on eBay should give you an idea of where the screws are.  The front one may be behind the black light unit that may itself need prising out to get at them.
