Does anybody know the code for sunset glass on a roomster? Thanks

Keitht

Picked up my roomster on thursday, the code in the service book 3fg  just says glass sun roof,

 it also shows 8dr for radio but the cd seems to play well enough.

The trouble is that its so clean I spent most of friday buying stuff to keep it that way.

I really must have a decent drive to check out what all the indicators on the dash do.

1999 Octavia Combi GLX  1.9TDi  1U5 274 AGR+DQY  65kW 5S

Great little link that, and I agree with TwoHats that the 0 or O, and G or Q makes life a bit more awkward, but having the servic book meant not rummaging in the boot for a sticker.

A basic specification, delivered 31 March 1999, so nearly sweet 16. Might give it a wash.

The VIN is different from the options code.

There is a structure to VIN codes. I began on a little utility last year, still on my back burner of TODO's.

Similar to this:

https://vindecoder.eu/check-vin/TMBAJ7NE1D0000000 I padded your vin sequence out with 0's.

I just put my VIN into the decoder and the answer was that my car is not affected by the Skoda emission scandal...... The engine is a EA189, 2.0 TDI 170, DSG, 4x4. I could swear that it is affected.

Hi Gentlemen,

My name is Maarten, I'm from The Netherlands. Driving my 3rd Skoda since the end of febr. (2nd Superb).

I received from my Skoda dealer the (ELSA?) PR-list of my Superb. As I understood correctly all mentioned PR's are "available" or at least mounted in the car.

Now I'm confused...  I see the following PR codes in the list:

KA0 = Without camera systems/accident sensors
QK0 = Without camera without distance sensor (driver assistance system)
QR0 = Without compass/traffic sign display/ traffic signs recognition

But that's all without...  Does this mean it's in the car mounted but not activated in the S/W or really not mounted? Then why mention these?

Who can clarify?

Thanks in advance, Maarten

@MeGa68 - They are mentioned to help with ordering parts in the future. If the PR code says without, then it's not there...

Depending what the option is, it might still be possible to activate or retrofit. You might want to explain what you're actually trying to do?

Given all the quoted ones mention the camera related functions, I'm guessing you want to activate lane assist or traffic sign recognition?

Yep...   But indeed there's no cam. Last week I mine was standing next to a L&K Superb and that one has definitively a camera...  ;-)
