I’m about to pull trigger finally on a Superb estate but have this unconfirmed niggle. The rear legroom.

Whilst better than everything else out there, when I’ve viewed the above trim levels, I feel the SportLine has actually less leg room between the back of front seats and the front of rear, if that make sense.

I can’t confirm this and don’t think the cars themselves are longer, but maybe due to the type of seat, it takes up a few extra inches? And I’m in a situation right now where every inch matters. As it’s either the Superb, or we’re off to get an MPV minivan with sliding doors and 7 seats!

Bit of a strange one to ask then, maybe if someone can kindly who has one of the above trim levels help investigate this? So set the front seats to most back position and then measure space in between back of front and front of rear?

I would be very grateful. Would save me the side eyes when driving around all the dealerships again with a tape measure.

Thank.

With my passenger seat fully back it's ~20 cm.

2020 SE estate, basic cloth seats, theres 26-27 cm gap

The Sportline seats will certainly appear more claustrophobic, due to the shape and bulk of the upper section of the backrest. However, in practice I've found no difference in legroom in the back of my Sportline+ vs an L&K; I'm 6'2 and can sit behind myself with ease.

I can see there being a difference in capable positions for the different types of seat frame though i.e. full vs part electric vs manual.
