dirty sills!

Featured Replies

The bit of paint work under the skirts on my car r mank and i cant seem 2 get em clean, any1 else got this prob, how can i clean em?!

I just did the ones on my Octy a couple of weeks ago - they really show up on a light coloured car.

Started with Autoglym tar remover to takes the worst bits off, then Super Resin Polish to bring the rest up to scratch.

Finished with a coat of Nattys paste wax.

Took a wee while due to the dimpled effect of the paint but well worth it imo.

It's about the only benefit of having a black car! :P

di mine with APC, steam cleaner and a scrubbing brush!!!!!!!

oh and alot of sore knees and elbow grease

Jet wash with traffic film remover, jusst remember to wax it afterwards as the TFR removes all the was thats already there.

Wouldnt use turps! or white spirit buddy, itll ruin ur paint work. I use a very soapy water solution and a carpet brush on mine then a coat of nattys paste wax:thumbup:
