As I seem to have almost reached a small limit for uploading images, I require assistance for deleting older uploads to make room for some more, as I didn't see any available tool for that.

Could someone explain why I have to keep signing in to the forum even if I leave for only 5 minutes.

I really enjoy the forum but it's driving me round the bend.

If a members Freedom membership expires are all the images that user has posted in the past lost or is that 1GB/10GB storage limit permanent.

With notifications, you can have an authentic native app experience when members add our community to their phone's homepage. When you add our community to your home screen with the share button. Once it has been added, it looks and feels like a native app downloaded from the App Store.

Open Safari and press the middle share icon at the bottom of the browser. And, click add to home screen.

With Apple finally allowing native notifications and Briskoda.net mobile-ready UI, you can have a real app experience without needing a mobile app.

Once this is added, if you wish to get push notifications, you will need to switch them on. Click on the item that has just been created to open your community (ensure you do it from the new application icon). Once there, go to the following location

Menu->Bell Icon->Notification Settings
 

At the bottom of the page, click to enable browser notifications under the "Push" section

Make sure that you enabled your push notifications PER DEVICE!.

Click ALLOW!

Then go through what you'd like to be pushed to the phone.

The one you want to set to PUSH will come up as notifications.

Be sure to check your Notification Settings, you'll have a new app called 'BRISKODA'.

And, that's it.

Each time I go back in and try to edit a post to change the lower case 'c' in Virtual cockpit to a capital 'C' to spell Virtual cockpit, it lets me make the change, but when I hit the save button the change doesn't happen.

All very strange!

I'm using an iPhone on briskoda website on mobile settings (can't remember the correct word)

I'm finding it hard to keep track on every topic on the forum and also upload pictures.

Is there an app or something that would make things easier?

Most YouTube tutorials I find are all about computers, and I don't use that. Only phone or iPad.

Anyone feel like putting up a crash course for dummies?

If the video hasn't yet been uploaded follow these first 4 steps, if it is already uploaded just skip past these 4

What needs doing first is going to be uploading the video you want to post

Then when that's done you can click 3 separate links (see circled area's 1, 2 and 3) a new tab should open with the video

The next step is incredibly simple, all that is needed is to copy the link

And paste into the topic you are replying to

When you paste the link it will look like what is in the photo above (a https link) no need to worry about the video not showing, it will automatically embed itself when you reply to the topic (you can even test it out by clicking "preview topic")

For those wanting to insert a already uploaded video please just follow the 2 last instructions above, which is to copy the https link and paste it into the topic you wish to reply to, it should look similar to the https link in the photo below

Currently I am unaware how to embed a video from Photobucket, under the "help topics" section of the forum it does state there is a "media" option in the reply's section, however I do not see this option at all? Perhaps a forum moderator or Colin can looks into this, or if there is indeed a way, someone is more than welcome to add onto this by doing a tutorial themselves

At some point in the future, I will look to update this and also show how to do it via Tapatalk and the Mobile site

Noticed a slight issue with the website.

When viewing the website on my iPad using Safari, I can view and scroll through the forum no problem, but when I try to reply, I can't click in the text box to begin to start to type a reply.

Obviously this affects starting new topics, editing current posts, etc.

I have a feeling this is a widespread IP.Board problem.

Any ideas?

So here goes.

1. Click on your username in the top right corner.

2. Click "My Profile".

3. Click the button marked "Edit my Profile".

4. Click on the 5th tab down on the left hand side, "Ignore Preferences".

5. Follow the straightforward instructions.
