Featured Replies

Hi my names Ross.

Im going to try and log some of my progress with my vrs 2008 cr170 pre F-L

Since purchase ive had a fair few niggles which ive failed with the seller to correct. Nasty Dealers!

N/S/R door lock

Aircon leak

Rear shocks

Possible wheel bearing

Blocked rear jet [fixed]

Wiperblades [fixed]

Rear taillight bulb error fault

EGR and throttlebody cleaned[do this to all my new cars]

Rear brake shields fell off

Heater has a mind of its own

I have done a few upgrades just cheap ones

Hid-London colour with vcds coding.

Osram bulbs all round

LED interior bulbs

RamAir panel filter

Handbrake ribbon

Fixed a few exhaust shields.those clips are useless.

Its begging for a good detail, another reason ive not got alot of pictures atm.

Its full of tar and road grime, living rural and tractors in out the fieldscombined with weather is becoming

a nightmare.

Soon as i get a chance the clay n lube will be out along with the DA....   ;)

Here's one of it the night i collected her #Teamblue

How did you get it out?

Just used the stalk with the jet off, when it stopped coming out i topped up with water and kept at it for a few mins, not constant short blasts.

Then put genuine screen wash in from TPS.

I stuck half a bottle in and topped up with water, this way if im away from home i can just add water.£3.50 a tub.

Ahhh bugger, I've been searching for ages too can only get the "devil eye" ones in the now it seems.

You sir are a hero

You said you wanted bi-xenon headlamps, they are just singles...

  • Author

You cant buy bi-xenon headlights,it will have to be a retrofit,so any headlight will do....ill use my originals to experiment on what housing/projectors to use.

Think your confused with term "BI" xenon...it don't mean you have 2 projectors,it means it uses the same bulb for both high and low beam.

I could just pop in a new shield which pops down, but i want the best output.so new lenses bowls ect will be different too.
