Okay so took my 2009 Skoda Octavia elegance to my local mechanic for new disks and pads all way round , he established after peeling away tape as a bodge repair a horrible butchery of a plug on the cars wiring loom , The problem for mine is found under the passengers side, front bake , some versions have it at the rear, drivers side I've heard.  there's two ways to fix this, first cut wire and solder in a pre wired version.
