One of the disadvantages cited for PCH vs. PCP when I signed-up two years ago was that it wasn't possible to buy the car at the end of the term.   It was possible for a family member or friend to buy it, but not the person named on the lease.   It wasn't clear to me at the time whether this was legislation driven, or a deliberate deterrent from Skoda to ensure enough 'quality' used cars were made available to their franchised dealer network.   Anyhow, fast forward t
