Can't help you with a garage mate, but for your exhaust I'd recommend Tony Banks in Leeds. He made me a full "turbo-back" system for mine about 2 yrs ago and I can't fault the exhaust or the service.

Must admit I thought that, seemed to be well liked and respected on here and sell a few bits through the classifieds. But having sent 3 or 4 PM's on this, he seems to log in to read them then straight back out again without replying.........can only assume the worst? As per title really, does anyone know Terkin on here? Paid him for an item in the classifieds on here about 6 weeks ago and not received it. Have sent him several PM's which he logs on to read and then ignores, can only assume the worst so thought I'd see if anyone on here could give him a nudge for me before I find another way to sort this out. No idea what brand any of it was, had heard good reports and didn't want to scrimp around to save a few quid then find I had a noisy clutch. Sounds like you've done that once already? By the time you've bought another clutch, bet you've spent more than me?

I fitted the Darkside Developments "Silent" one to mine (ASV) about a month ago and would highly recommend it. Great service from Darkside and I have a lighter pedal, better feel and no noise at all. Hope this helps.

That's turned out great mate, looks good. When you get your seats, don't be tempted to try that stuff on the white bits of the seat, doesn't work, I've tried!! Might try it on my headlining, the vRS Estate I bought for parts didn't have a sunroof, and mine has, so I need a dark headling too! Got a non-sunroof one going if anyones interested?

Can anyone confirm it's all the same parts I need for the conversion on a Tdi as a vRS..........can find all the part no.s from the various vRS Clutch threads, just need to know it's not any different for a Tdi? Lee - How much you asking for the flywheel and whereabouts are you?

Time has come to replace the clutch on on 92k mile Tdi.....as I'm planning some tuning action next year, I'd like to fit an uprated one. Can find plenty of threads on here for the VR6/G60 SMF conversion for a vRS, but very little about TDi's..........will it be the same part no.s etc? If someone could confirm this, that would be great. A list of part no.' needed and good suplliers would be even better. My car is a 1.9 Tdi 2004 110 ASV by the way. Thanks in advance. Gareth

Mine started life as a 110Tdi Elegance............no vRS badges!

Don't know about the adapters mate, but if I were you I'd run new cables from your head-unit (or amp) to the speakers as the standard wiring is pretty naff. Not too hard to do, drop your glovebox and lower section under the steering column and you can thread them through fairly easily, did it myself a couple of weeks ago. That way, you'll have the original wiring too in case you want to put it back to standard at any point.
