  1. My pipe popped this afternoon, no EML just a "pop & whoosh" sound. I managed to limp to an industrial estate and Mr RAC man re attached the pipe. It was the lower pipe under the tray. I just hope I was lucky this time.
  2. Mine is way out. The trip 2 average is showing 68mpg, tank to tank over 6000 miles is 50mpg.
  3. You should move to Birmingham. They have turned them all off...for now.
  4. You will have DMF issues if you try and accelerate hard in a high gear. What he said, don't look for trouble you don't have yet.
  5. My SE doesn't torque steer or have a harsh ride. I have Uniroyal Rainsport 2 fitted. My Old Corsa Sri CDTi used to steer all over the place so considering the VRS has 30% more power she drives fine. Have a look at your tyres, maybe check the pressures/tracking etc??
  6. Mine gets louder when the clutch is depressed. No other rattles. I would stop worrying too much and enjoy your car. You could put a pound in a jar every day and start saving up for when/if it goes.
  7. I would be having a word with my local station to see if they can find out.
  8. My bet is the pedal, mine does this also. Another small job to get round to...
  9. I used a kit from wickes, £150 or so. My door is 14ft wide and I struggle open it by hand. Best £150 I ever spent!
  10. I neither scrape or use warm water or de-icer. I walk down the garden, open my garage door, unlock my furby and then depress my remote door button and drive out. The seat belt is then clicked into place while the door closes behind me. Sorry to brag but its ace!!
  11. Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I gave her a quick polish today, so I hope I can keep her in fine fettle. I only wish the SE had the heated seats like my old TDi elegance I owned a few years back. I am still wading through the receipts, I have never seen so many!
  12. You will be pleased to know I have returned to the skoda fold and now have your old car. Not done many miles so far but I am pleased so far. A shame about the stone chipping but plenty of polish will keep it shiny. Andrew tells me you are also a MG man, so am I with my summer plaything being a late MGR TF. Enjoy your new A3 and be assured your VRS will be looked after. I plan on letting Andrew do any servicing in future. One quick question, when the cambelt was done did they also change the water pump? May run in to you at curborough when the MGCC sprints are on? I went twice last year Adrian
  13. Nikon SLR Lens Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review Here is a good place to start. What about a nikon 70-300vr?
  14. A fine set of pictures, but i'm glad I wasnt standing in the "barn" behind the jet car!!
