How do remove/ reposition floor mat clips?
ultra_joel88 replied to ultra_joel88's topic in Skoda Karoq
I've tried that no joy -
Hi all. Back to the skoda fold after quite a few years with a new karoq se tech. Having some trouble with mats. The floor retaining clips in the carpet seem to be fitted in the wrong position on the driver side. I have tried to remove one with pliers and persuaian and managed to break it. I've got another one ordered but can anyone tell me what the trick is to remove them?

Hiya guys, wondering if anyone could help? Does anyone know how much a 2nd hand TDI cat converter from a VRS is worth? Ive heard they contain platinum so the scrap value is high? Can anyone shed any light?

I like the hatch, though not too sure on the style of the alloys, they don't seem to "fit" -
Jase mate I am looking at changing my Fabia for a Corrolla T Sport? How come you got rid? What sort of price should I be paying for one? Can I pick up a decent one for under 6k? They seem to be 04 plates with about 55k on them for that money? When I look at one is there anything I should watch out for? Any common faults?

Cheers for suggestions guys. Yeah Leon Cupra would be major insurance rape-age. Colt CZT... not sure on the looks and a bit small possibly. Ibiza FR 1.8T could be a good shout but pretty similar to a Fabia really? Fiat Panda 100hp I like but again maybe too small. Focus ST170 may look into that but aren't they unreliable? Astra SRI, the petrol engines are pap. Renaultsport Megane, do they do a non-225? Clio- too small.

Alright guys. i've decided that the time has come to change the Fabia. I've got a new job which is a 5 minute walk down the road so my milage will be cut drastically from my current 40 mile a day commute, so no longer see the need for a diesel. Also, I've started to get a little bit of clutch slip in 5th, so rather than shell out 1k for a new clutch i figure I might as well trade it in and go back to a petrol? Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm aiming to get about 4k trade in for the Fabia (04 plate, 60k, FSH, good nick) then I'd be willing to add another 2k to that but ideally less. Requirements: - Nippy (sub 9s to 60 as a benchmark) petrol - Big enough to fit a babyseat in the back - Reliable - Not too high mileage - Less than Group 14 insurance but ideally less than group 10 I'm open to anything really. All I've thought of so far are: - Corsa SRI 1.8 - Toyota Corrolla 1.8 T-SPORT

Did mine myself, think it was an 096, can't remember. The 4 year Halfords own calcium jobby. Came to £67 or something as my sisters BF has a trade card. Hardest bit was getting that STUPID jacket to sit properly around the battery.

Well, got some insurance quotes and they are ridiculous anyway, not paying £3-400 quid more for a car that is slower!

Haha, loving the pics, cheers guys.
