  1. Lol 4 years later...... hey I’m still about though although not in my lovely vRS. For what it’s worth the ride was no issue at all. I did around 35k a year for 2 years and enjoyed every yard. I moved on from my vRS and have a Giulia now and treated myself to a little Sunday runabout too. Really enjoyed my Octavia ownership though, great cars
  2. I shall be going. Free ice cream is enough for me!
  3. Good choice, looks lovely. Regards the ride I found mine transformed with a set of Eibachs not to mention the '4x4' look on standard springs.
  4. I disagree Airbourne. The mk2 vRS petrol's ran 312mm discs and given then had 200bhp and weighed more than the new generation I don't think the discs require being any bigger on the new diesel version. Regards the diesel being a proper performance model again I disagree. Luke warm maybe but the figures hardly add up to tarmac melting performance. Skoda will say they are fit for purpose and that can't be argued with imho.
  5. My last two cars (both vRS) had Eibach's fitted with stock dampers. First one covered 108,000 with no issues and I'm on nearly 40k with the current vRS with no issues.
  6. Springs are black and yes the dampers are doing ok
  7. Hi the correct Eibach spring code for the vRS diesel estate is E10-79-010-02-22. I set out to make mine the same as the press pics vRS which sold me the car in the first place not the 4x4 look that the standard car can with. Standard Car Press car My car with springs fitted
  8. Here is my vRS with Pro Kit drop I believe code number - E10-79-010-02-22Before After
  9. Looking good! Did you order the vRS 230 black exhaust tips in the end?
  10. Have to agree, mine rides so much better on the Eibachs than standard
  11. What did you use for the silencer painting and how did you do it? Did you paint the the pipe tips of the exhaust too?
