How does a turbo reduce emissions?. Are you not adding more fuel for the extra air?. Or do you get a more complete burn as it runs leaner than a n/a engine? .

thanks all, I left it plugged into the usb cable over night at it just keeps turning on and off now, it was working ok when plugged into the car, will try again now I've updated it. hopefully connecting it to the car will sort it out. thanks for the telling me about the pdf, if there should have been a hard copy I will chase the dealer.

much the same I traded in my Polo GT PD130. the polo was remapped to 175bhp so ive dropped a lot of power, but in all honesty the citigo gets to 60-70 quick enough and has enough power to overtake without feeling like its struggling. the extra power on the polo was nice but not really needed in the real world imho. insurance is £100 cheaper for me and I save £145 in tax + the citigo is only a year old so a lot less in theory is likely to go wrong the polo by contrast at 10 years old was starting to show its age, seized rear callipers, power steering issues and some rust on one of the wings. sad to see the polo go, as I think you might be with the FR but all in the citigo is a good solid little car that should serve well, so no regrets from me.

Hi all, im having issue with my PID not charging, I gather from reading a few posts on here its a common issue, I tried to update it via the Garmin fresh thing, but now it just turns on and off with a message in white writing saying something about new vehicle, it doesn't stay on long enough to actually read what its saying. When it did stay on for long enough to check it the outside temp gauge has now vanished as an option, only coolant temp and revs are available. I don't think I go a specific book for the PID from the dealer only a fold out quick start guide which was of limited use, I assume there should have been a proper booklet / user guide?. thanks,

Hi, We are considering replacing our 54 plate polo gt tdi for the citigo elegance greentech, on the net ive seen photos of the pid displaying both oil and coolant temp is this right? Cheers.
