  1. Thanks. Yes, only the seen it from insurance sites. I've seen it mentioned as Turbo 200 or similar as well before. So their information must be a bit weird.
  2. Hi All, I've had my Octy since September last year, and I've noticed coming around to insurance renewal time that my car shows as an "OCTAVIA VRS LIMITED EDITION". I only see this with insurance comparisons and the v5 shows as Octavia vRS TFSI It's a 2010 Facelift model in grey. It has full black leather inside (Not label to say a number and looks standard rather than the LE examples I've seen) It has Zenith wheels, which are standard for the vRS. It also has a sun roof and tinted windows. It doesn't seem to be a limited edition, but has anyone else noticed this? I'm not bothered if it's not an LE, I'm mostly curious. It also had a Briskoda sticker at the top of the windscreen when I bought it.
  3. Thanks for the suggestions. It seems like pre-paid cards seem to be the way forward. I wonder how many go abroad without thinking about the extra fees they may incur.
  4. Hi All, I'm hoping for a bit of advice, I'm looking to go out to France, Germany and Netherlands later in the year, and looking for ways to save being stung with Non Sterling fees and whatever other fees that my bank will charge to use my card abroad. Last year I booked my hotels whilst I was at home, and got charged fees for booking online. I took enough cash out with me last time to pay for everything else whilst I was out there. I was looking at getting a Supercard, which doesn't charge fees for use in a shop or online, but would from a cash point. However they're no longer offering this service. A colleague mentioned about Revolut instead, which is a pre-paid card instead. What does everyone else do?
  5. I've got Cribbs Causeway close by, and as mentioned above I treat it as a look and feel of products. It's also nice to have a bit of a stomp around the shops as well though.
  6. I just now assume that all new cars don't have spare wheels with them anymore. It's also surprising the number of people who have never changed a wheel before. I can understand calling someone out if you're in a dangerous position. My spare wheel said it was manufactured in 2012, which is 2 years newer than the car. Thank you one of the previous owners. I needed it 2 weeks ago. :-)
  7. I went through reporting pot holes on my route to work. I did this about 3 weeks ago. I only did them for ones which were in positions that were very difficult to avoid or could cause damage. Most have been filled in now :-) I used https://www.fixmystreet.com/ The only ones that hasn't been sorted is a line of small ones that are difficult to miss, however they're on a 20mph zone outside a school.
  8. I would like to see some snow, but it's not going to fall here in Bristol... The Bristol Post got excited earlier in the week, but looks like they changed their headline title.
  9. I like the set up you've got, but it should be renamed as a 'Man Cave'. I've got a man cave in my place, but it's mostly just 1 computer, but 2 screen set up. I have a G29 wheel for games though. What's in the laptops if they can do 4k, is that with the gaming too? What's next to go in?
  10. It's a good game. I tried it out on a friends computer. There is parts where you have to do jobs to get money, however you also build a car up from parts. So if you're wanting a better understanding of the internals of the car then it's worth getting.
  11. Around the 116.9 for Petrol here but near work is 112.9 at Tesco. I will fill up there before the weekend.
  12. When I got my current are it had a retro sticker at the top of the windscreen. It looks great but was peeling off. So that was annoying me more. I would be interested in getting a new one too.
  13. It's normally panic in the office when the coffee has run out. I don't drink tea or coffee, so I just keep out of everyones way!
  14. Following a Volkswagen Polo with the L removed out of the Polo letters on the back :-)
  15. I turned my old Samsung Galaxy S2 into a sat nav. I bought the Tom Tom app to go onto it.
