I have recently had a letter from Skoda asking for me to drop my Octavia FL Vrs Estate in for an ECU update. Has anyone else had this done? what can I expect? thanks in advance. Dan

The bushes were changed to powerflex 15,000 miles ago. Can't lower the car due to frequent use on farm track.

Does 312mm brakes mean new wheels? Have I got any other options which are just as effective?

I'm deciding if I should look for a newer car with less milage, or stick with my VRS SE and upgrade certain parts to achieve a faster, more refined Fabia. The current milage is 115,000. So Im assuming the turbo whistle indicates the end of its life is near? So far, I have thought about a potential RARB, Remap, new Turbo, new clutch. Does anyone have any recommended suppliers, or suggestions for my project? Thanks for your help in advance, Dan

get an SE or a Polo GT TDI with more miles. they can handle the miles, 100,000 is what you would expect from a diesel around 7+ years old -
If your sticking with Phil's idea, dont forget to keep an eye out for speed cameras on your way back. It would definitely put a downer on the buzz of a "new" car

im with big jase, mines in the garage at the moment, and a similar squeak come from the front arb bushes
