My Octy mk2 has paint fade badly on the spoiler, passenger side front corner and passenger door! It appears this is happening even more so on red Skoda's!

How do i change the indicator bulb in my mirror?
VRS-R replied to VRS-R's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Ok thanks! Just one question though, what's a puddle light and how can i identify mine has got it? -
I would love to take my Vrs on the track next year. I've never been on any race track before, are there any you guys go too in the Kent area?

I've got a red Octavia and have noticed my front left quarter, left front door and spoiler is fading into a matt orange colour. I bought 2 bottles of T Cut red wax for red cars to restore the original colour, will this work or will these parts require respraying? I've heard that red cars are the most difficult cars to keep the paint looking nice without colour fading. Any advice or tips would be great thanks.

Dent on C-pillar will cost about
VRS-R replied to VRS-R's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Thanks for the replies guys This glue puller, is this available for me to buy online? The dent is not very big but the only downside is it's location. If it was on a larger area or a flat surface it would make the job of fixing it much easier. The hair dryers & dry ice method also looks dead easy to try as well, making a claim on my insurance is probably not such a good idea after all. I would post pics on here but i'm not sure how to do it? Can i post them directly via my Galaxy S2? -
Hi everyone, I've been very unlucky to find a dent which is about 2" x 1" on my C - Pillar after work :( I was hoping to get it fixed by Dent Master by just pulling the dent out but i've now been told it needs to go to the bodyshop and it could cost up to £500! At this price i may as well get my insurance to sort it out as i'd only have to pay £100 but premium will go up. I've seen some people use a hairdryer to warm the dent up and then use compressed air or dry ice to pop dent's out of vehicles, is this something i should maybe try? Please let me know, if there are any other options to pull the dent out please let me know about those too thanks. Not very happy at the moment, i don't have a lot of luck lately. :(

Got a possible quote today from Dent Master as i can't seem to send any pics of the C pillar damage via phone. The cost could be about £120 or a bit more! :( Bloke told me he'd have to drill a small hole inside the C pillar as it's solid, to blow compressed air into it to repair dent. I really wish i knew the person that caused the damage so i could send him the bill! :( Is this a reasonable price to pay?

Where i work we don't have a staff car park. We have to park on the public road which is not very busy as it's mainly used for local residents. Oddly last week a flat bed truck was parked near where i parked today which had scafold poles on the back, obviously i didn't park there at the time worried one of those poles would go through my windscreen.Unfortunately i can't really see my car from where i work as i work in a care home, so i've got no idea if this truck turned up this morning or not? It could have been a lot worse though.

Not happy today. Left work and when i got to my car i noticed small white marks what i thought were scratches! On closer inspection i find there is a dent about 2 inches accross on the rear driverside pillar ie rear side & boot window. Luckily i was able to wipe the what i thought were scratches off which actually was white paint, now i've got this small dent but no paint damage. Is it worth me claiming this on my insurance so they get it fixed or better to leave it? It's not very nice to have a dent but unless you really look you can't really see it. It's not my day today :(

LED tyre valve caps, are they legal for road use?
VRS-R replied to VRS-R's topic in Styling and Car Care
Ok, i get the point. I haven't run away though. In short they look Crap! I won't be getting those then, i'll get some anti theft Skoda air caps instead.
