Just had me new Octy II elegance estate fitted with a Witter towbar , and have now found that it has upset the rear parking sensors. :thumbdwn: Have established however that If I cover the two sensors towards the centre of the bumper up with my hands that it stops the eratic bleeps. :confused: Could it be the shadow of the Towball causing them to go mad? Therefore does anybody know if it is possible to disable the two (inner) of the four sensors thus allowing the two outer sensors to still work? cheers Jonny Baby PS had a removable bumper protector plate fitted and this works a treat, very neat

Picked up my new Octy2 1.9tdi estate elegance from work last week, looking good in Island Green metallic, however some mindless person has put a dent in the rear passenger door, its not even a week old! Not impressed To make matters worse I can't use somebody like Dentmaster to put it right as it is to close to the edge of the door. independant Bodyshop quoted me

Looks fantastic mate, my new Octavia Estate 19.tdi elegance is coming 1st July in Island Green Metallic looking foward to that day , unfortunatly because it is company car could not stretch to the Maxi dot, but have had the light assistant feature fitted which is useful I think! Dear All Will be taking delivery of my new Octavia Estate beginning of July, and will be needing a towbar for it as a matter of urgency due to a carravanning holiday middle of July So far have not been able to locate one for the new estate yet (Skoda dealer wants a fortune for one) Towsure seem to think the Mk1 towbar will fit a Mk2 but I don't think that is quite right! :confused: So does anyone know where I will get one other than from a main dealer? Also because I have gone for the elegance spec it comes with those rear parking sensors as standard, I have been told that a fixed towbar will send them crazy, is this true? Any pointers in the right direction would be very helpful Cheers Jonny Baby
