Running the high pressure fuel pump dry without first priming / purging the system will likely destroy it / cause the iron filings as it relies on diesel for lubrication. Have a look at Archoil AR6400-D and BG244 for cleaning injectors / carbon deposits. Surely by voting out we've given them no choice over keeping the opportunities we've had (such as free access to work / live / travel anywhere in Europe)?If we'd voted in and it all went t*ts up in the future there'd still have been the opportunity for another referendum / leave decision.
