  1. I bought a 2012 superb estate 1.6 Greenline in July 1 owner and full service history but with 108,000 miles on the clock. At the time quite a few come on the market with mileages from 80,000 to 130,000.I eventually settled on my car due to the overall condition of the car and the fact that the clutch and dual mass flywheel and discs and pads all round had been replaced at just under 100,000 miles. After checking the service book I found a warranty letter which mentioned warranty work on the waterpump at 90,000 and after ringing Skoda up they confirmed the waterpump had failed and had contaminated the cambelt so it also had a new cambelt kit along with the waterpump replaced due to the car just being under 2 years old at the time. At least I won't have to have the belt replaced in the next 5 years. A bit worrying though when something like the waterpump fails at 90000 miles .
  2. My wife and I are both using out of contract Orange/ee iPhone 4S phones on the virgin network. Virgin use the orange and t mobile cellular system and you do not need to get your locked orange ee phone unlocked for the virgin sim to work.
  3. I currently have a 2006 l&k 2litre TDI saloon. The rear nearside door has started playing up, not opening intermittantly. The door can be opened from the inside but won't open with the remote on door open button on the key fob. This does not happen all the time probably once every coule of days. Anyone got any ideas ??
  4. The TPM only flashes once when I attempt to reset the monitor otherwise it is just staying on all the time. I have rechecked the tyre pressure again yesterday and all still ok.
  5. Hi Everyone, I also have a problem with the tyre pressure monitor. The light came on several weeks ago and having checked the tyres , one tyre needed a little air . I reset the light and everything was ok. A week later my wife turned on the cars headlights ( I have added aftermarket HID's sometimes the nearside bulb fails to light up and the bulb error comes on,) so she turned the engine off and restarted it which cured the headlight fault but the TPM light came on. I have checked the tyre pressures all ok and have tried resetting the monitor but it won't go out it does flash when pressing the reset but won't go out . Anyone have any ideas to sort the fault out ? or does it need a trip to the garage ? Many thanks Dale 2006 L and K 2.0ltr TDI saloon
