I could feel the turbo kicking in much earlier on the way home and the light had cleared on the dash. Tomorrows commute will reveal if the mpg improves as its been pretty dire since the sensor went bust! -

Follow up: Not sure if this will be of any use to anyone... Skoda dealer quoted me £65 for the part and £75 labour to fit it. I felt this was a little steep so... I bought a genuine part off ebay for £50 delivered and had my local mechanic fit it for £25 Almost half price, so happy with that -

Hello fellow Briskodians, Advice needed for an uneducated philistine please: My Fabia GL2 has a sensor that is knackered. Part number 059 906 051c. I have ordered a new part but was hoping someone on here could advise if this is something I could install myself. (And if so, how?) Like do I need any special tools or anything? Or should I rather get my local mechanic to fit it? Any advice welcome. Cheers G

Thank you sir! I was considering a natural wax to replace my depleted FK, bit decided it suited both my black and white cars best for my budget. Happy with my decision
