As they should pan roofs are inherently strong , as long as there is no signs of external damage it should always be a warrantable repair. Surprised it's a body shop job tho normally any good glass specialists would be able to replace the pan roof. Just think of it being a windscreen on the roof no different .Glad it's getting sorted for you

So I've had my mk3 Monte for a month now and it's OK ...... but there is just something missing it's just not the same as my old mk2 VRS. Firstly one touch windows .....this is partly my fault I just assumed it would have it I mean come on a car in 2016 that doesn't have one touch my fiances 64 plate C1 has them. Now any one know if these can be retrofit ? Next is hill hold again the C1 has it and I know it was an option but at 30 quid I can only assume it's a coding. I have put some LED's in the front interior lamp but I cannot for the life of me work out how to get the rear interior lamps out. And finally for now I have been toying with the idea of a remap but I've heard stories that it logs a code in the pcm so dealers can tell its been mapped any one know if this is true?
