  1. I'm considering fitting new component speakers in the front of my Octavia, however can anyone offer me advise on how easy/difficult this is going to be. I'm looling at getting a set of Alpine SXS 1757s (according to the Alipne web site they fit), but is it going to be too much grief...should I stick with 2-ways...any suggestions??!
  2. If anyone is planning on going to see the rally keep your eyes out for me, I've got a day pass for the Saturday... will be seeing SS8/10 (Crychan) and SS14 (Resolfen 2). I'm using carparks M and J2 so if you see me give us a wave

    New Boy!

Well for the moment I'm happy and a faster car doesn't necessarily equal more fun.. I'd rather keep things simply and my insurance payments at a minimum!! But hey, I'm in no rush, recon I've good a good few years ahead with her.

Good to see some local boys on the site... I see that people do arrange meets but something a bit closer to home would be handy...any ideas  Oh, and this Jabba business...looks interesting although I have also looked into MTM as they are based in my area. Think for the moment though I shall enjoy the RS as it was intended

    New Boy!

Hi, just thought I'd say a big hello to all those at BRISKODA! I only signed up 2 days ago having bought a used black Octavia RS 2 weeks ago (only 8k on the clock though). What can I say about the car that already hasn't been said here.. I'm a total Skoda convert. In fact I've posted a review on my intial impressions, so check it out... hopefully I'll try to do more as the ownership experience develops. But for the moment I just can't get enough of driving the thing:D . Think the site is fab and I'm sure I'll be spending plenty of time here, especially looking for tips for upgrading the speakers (like everyone else seems to have done!!). Happy motoring
