  1. Hi Sarah,

Went in Awesome at the weekend to order coilovers for T5 and found you no long work there! Hoping to get the van as low as the Fabia now hehe

    Shaun

  2. To be fair , even if the engine is not working , the mount still has a flippin heavy engine hanging off the end of it Also if the part has been superceeded , then you could find a delay with getting them out to you , as they will be waiting for the manufacturer to produce them , then they have to be quality checked by VAG too , before they send them out Sarah
  3. Oooh nice You did it well done and a nice clean install So does she go well with it on then???? Come on spill the beans........ Sarah
  4. only nice things are sread here LOL Sarah
  5. Hello John , you are getting about a bit arn`t you? Welcome along Sarah
  6. Accept the hugs then I am AwesomeSarah as I work (well until the end of the day) for Awesome GTi A tuning company that sponsor this forum Sarah because , LOL it is my name Sarah
  7. Have to agree with Chris there The 6Q0 part number automatically means that it IS a shared part number with the Polo and the Ibiza Maybe even others too So they would not send the crap ones to Skoda and keep the good ones for the VW`s Skoda Fabia was launched in March 2000 the very first to have that chassis To test it out for the other VAG range If I remember right , it was Auto Express car of the year too So it could not have been THAT bad???? Also the 1.9TDi did not come out straight away in this country , because they could not squeeze all the bits in under the bonnet for RHD Sarah
  8. No worries , if it is a broken wire , then that is a couple of hunderd quid to go towards the op Sarah
  9. But Skoda , or evan VAG dont produce their parts , they come from other manufacturers The idea of upgrading their parts has gone on for ages!!!!! There has been many many supercessions going back even in to the Favorat So I am sure there will still be many more to come Sarah
  10. Friend of mine had that Surgery looked bad , but he was fine after he had got over it I dont think he has ever had any issues afterwards He lives abroad now and dont see him very often :( But I am sure even if you did need it , knowing you are better after it makes it worth while Good luck what ever happens Sarah
  11. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/126159-battery-charge-light-not-illuminating-with-ignition-other-elecrtrical-faults/page__p__1584477__hl__alternator%20wire__fromsearch__1entry1584477 Sarah
  12. Hey , i dont question anyones sexuality , I just like cars Plus I wear ladies clothes too If the alternator is not charging , yes it can still be the broken wire If the wire is broken then the light wont flash up on the dash to say the alternator is working So then although the alternator is OK , it will not charge because of the broken wire I KNOW FOR A FACT as it happened to me and I broke down  Sarah
  13. Have to agree with you Chris I did do warranty for Skoda for a while Worn items are worn!!!! fair wear and tear that is I have seen some items that are common to fail go in to a 5th year of warranty ( coil packs on the 1.8T engine , and head gaskets on the very early 1.4 8V Fabia , also IIFC the gearbox on the 1.9SDi Octavia So they do help , the most annoying thing is IF the dealers tell you of this :( Sarah
  14. Hi Gayboy........ Well dont buy an alternator , until you have the wiring checked No it is NOT common for them to fail , but the wires break that go to the dash from the alternator (this happened to me too , bought an alternator and it did not need it) Yes , it is common for all the doors to require sealing Just try sealing with bath sealant , I am sure there will be a wow to on here I am on an old computer and is dead slow , but I am sure you will find it Be weary about the alternator , they are flippin expensive , and I dont think you will need it Sarah
  15. Well , to be fair , I have never been a Daddy , but I have a Mummy Just remember , they dont come with handbooks But you will be supprised at how it all comes together though when the baby arrives All books do and research is makes you worry Dont worry , relax , enjoy and have fun , as has been said they do grow up very very quickly , then you wonder where the time has gone Then they will be asking about boyfriend , girlfriends , cars wanting a motorbike  Time flies Yes , you would do ANYTHING for them , and when they get older , they do you proud My little girl is 22 and gets married in a few months in Cuba , my son is 25 and is saving up for a house They make me so proud :'( and believe me , thay are worth every penny , every ounce of pain you get Congratulations Sarah
