SKODA FABIA ELECTRIC WINDOWS

SKODA FABIA 1.9 TDI 56 PLATE: I have been having problems with my electric windows for years. Usually during the winter months after lots of rain the windows stop working and after a long dry spell they will work on and off. I often have to reset the windows with the key in the lock. This often happens 2 or 3 times before it's resolved. However, the windows have now stopped completely. I have replaced the three fuses, 46, 58, 68 just in case and still nothing. I have seen a video on YouTube that indicated that the problem may be in the connections at the door post, which I have checked on both side, but nothing happened. I have now replaced the Master Control Switch in the driver door panel, but again nothing. Has anyone got any suggestions?
