    First thing I would try would be to disconnect the battery for 30 mins, then reconnect and try again. After the battery reconnects you will get lots of warning lights, but assuming it starts they will all disappear soon after driving for a short way.

    For other people with 2012 / 2013 cars, xpower's solution to manually change bit 4 has worked for me too,
