    When you say open / close the electric boot from the key fob, I notice you have a  hatchback (aka Twindoor)
     
    AFAIK the key fob operation on this model will only unlock the saloon type small half boot and allow it to open on the springs, the ability to fully open and close the boot door using electric motors is only fitted to the estate (aka Combi) version.
