I have them front and rear.

Hi I tweaked the waistgate a bit yesterday and the boost error has gone. However that whistle remains it sounds like air rushing through the turbo muffler. The muffler is a different design to the old one. The baffles in the new one are a lot bigger.

I replaced the turbo due to the oil seal failed and it was leaking oil. Plus the waistgate was loose and all over the place

Hi no the whoosh sound I have is due to a vta fitted. It's the high pitched whine in the video. Someone said it sounds like the bearing in the turbo buts it's brand new!!

It starts to make the sound under load but if I really give it some the sound stops.

That's what I was thinking. It didn't do it before the turbo change. I checked all the boost pipes today and got someone to rev it while I was under it. But it only makes the sound when under load..

I am now also getting a really high pitch whine under Acceleration

Hiya its a 2l petrol 2011. I've solved the stalling problem it was a bad diverter valve. How ever I'm getting Boost Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached. I've checked for boost leaks.

Hey all yesterday I replaced the turbo in my octavia vrs with a brand new oem one. Upon test driving when I accelerated hard and put it into neutral the engine stalls. I've checked all the vacuum lines etc. The only error code in the car is databus infotainment no signal communication. Any ideas what it could be? Also the car has a stage one remap if that helps it ran fine on the old turbo.

Yes they are all fine. I can test the fans with vcds and they start up fine.

The one on the hose. I can't find the one on the engine.

Hi all im new here. I have a strange problem with my octavia radiator fans. They don't come on when the car is hot I've taken them out of the car and powered them up with 12v. They worked but my mum has the 1.8 same year and iv I unplug the temp sensor her fans come on, but if I do the same on my car they don't come on they used to if I tested them like that. I have plugged the car into vcds and tested them through that and they worked fine. But just not when the car is hot I have also replaced the temp sensor.
