Both you and another person recommended two different ways of activating it but from my understanding it would end the warranty... What elses did you customize about your Kamiq? I want to put the footrest you did so far and try to get the dealer to activate the damn high beam assisf.

Thank mate. One more question would be... I see that you have the sport pedals. I read that because the sides are metal the foot can slip off, especially jf you touch just the side of the brake pedal in an emergency. Do you have the same issues?

With the hot glue you are trying to make the back completely flat so you can put something like this on the back so it sticks to the carpet, right?

I am worried about the warranty as well. I really dislike the dealer in my town and I am 100% sure he will try to wiggle out of any problems with warranty. I am hoping you could help me a bit with OBDleven a bit? I never used it and I am reallt worried about not ****ing anything up.

Alright, yeah it's decent, could be better but I am happy with it.

I strongly advise you go for it! It was relatively cheap and its well integrated with the Automatic AC. It serves me well, windshield never fogs up and snow melts really fast. If you can, go for it!

Hey, I have it but with the Kamiq, which should look around the same. They don't show up on photos well but you can definitely see them. I would argue you can see them more than my friend's Passat B6. You get used to them after a while tho'.

I see, can they do it for a price maybe?

Hello! I drive a lot on dark unlit country roads. When I bought my 2021 Kamiq ( Amundsen, Traffic Sign Recognition, Full LED headlights) I forgot to add this 100 euro option. The dealer was evasive when I asked if a retrofit is possible. They said the correct camera is installed but they don't know if they can do it. From my understanding, it is just a matter of software activating it. They did warn me against doing it at a non-authorized dealer as it will void the warranty. What do you guys know about this?

Hey, It seems odd that you can only get map updates twice a year. What if you don't drive the car during that month? You are sure about it? If that's truly the case, I find it a very flawed design.

Regarding my locking and unlocking, if anybody needs this info... I called Skoda Czech Helpline and together with the very nice customer support guy we determinrd that my dealer doesn't know what he's talking about and they failed to verify my account... They told me to go back to the dealer and if they can't fix it, Skoda CZ will,).

I'll set the Primary User right away! Maybe that's why I cant lock or unlock the car?

Alright mate, one more question, maybe you know? Is it worth setting a primary user or should I just go with the guest that was premade?

Alright, my bad. I gave the local Skoda dealer my Driver's License and it still doesn't work. They said afterwards that it doesn't work on the Scala and Kamiq, but the Skoda Website says it does, therefore I'm slightly unsure about it.

It shouls have it's own internet access. If you do manage to update it, let us know how. As a side note, are you able to lock or unlock the car from the My Skoda app?

Hello! I have recently joined Briskoda so if I am doing something wrong, bear with me please. I recently got a 2021 Kamiq. The trim level is called Style in the country I am in. Until now, I had a Volvo v50 2006 which was at the end of it's life with over 350.000 km so I decided to get a new car. Yesterday, in very heavy rain I turned the right stalk all the way to the top, to high, and I still could barely see stuff outside of the car. The wipers seems to move half as slow as my old Volvo. I know that Volvo is a luxury brand where Skoda is more reliable and so on, but I was just curious, is it normal for them to move slow even on the high speed? The car is 3 days old. At the same time, I am not ruling out user error on my side. I just pushed the stalk all the way up. I read that if I leave it on int and have the rain sensor on, it can go faster? I am hoping somebody can shed some light on my question. I think if somebody owning a Scala or a Kamiq could show how fast their wipers go on the high setting that would be amazing. Thank you guys
