Wow! £980. I priced clutch kit, slave cylinder and gearbox oil from TPS today and was £352 all in. My local garage, who are the best I've ever used, will be @ £150 for fitting. A lot less than your figures. Suppose it depends where you are but main dealers are just mega expensive, often for inferior work, than small locals.

My 2015 Octavia 2.0tdi has a slightly heavy clutch. Not unbearable by any means just a bit heavier than previous Skodas. 86k so probably the original hence getting heavy. It also bites way low down on the pedal travel. Just off the floor when releasing. Doesn't affect gearchange, except when stone cold, the low gears are a bit snicky. Warm-perfect. The clutch take up is creamy smooth though. Usually the bite gets higher as a clutch wears. Has anyone found the same?

Forgot about Star performance. Didn't get the car after all but still gonna look for one. Cheers.

Getting a Fabia 1.2 tsi 110 tomorrow. Anywhere in Scotland do a remap that you have used and had great results. I live in Dundee and there is a company called Krypto mapping. Gonna give them a call. Anyone know of them or had work done? Thanks.
