dstev2000's post in Apple CarPlay issues was marked as the answerHave you tried disconnecting from the car, deleting the connection information from both devices (Settings>General>CarPlay>Forget this car) and performing a hard reset on the iPhone (press and hold the home button and sleep/wake button until the Apple logo appears)?*
Of course, all beta releases come with the caveat of 'results may vary'. It will hopefully be fixed before the full iOS10 release next month. It might be prudent to report the problem through the feedback part of the beta programme. After all, it's testing like this that allows Apple to fix annoying bugs in beta releases.
Failing that, backing out of the Beta programme and restoring to the current iOS 9.3.4 might be the way to go.
*forgive my condescension as appropriate

dstev2000's post in Combi raised boot / Spare Wheel was marked as the answerThe temporary spare wheel on the Superb Estate/Combi/Chicken Teriyaki is a normal steel spare on cars with the normal boot, I believe it's a 205 width tyre but don't quote me on that. If you specify the variable boot floor AND/OR the 280 4x4, it has to be a skinny space saver spare wheel.
Either way, in response to the OP's question. The floor is only raised if you intentionally specify that variable boot floor I mentioned.
I flip flop between Combi and Estate depending on whether I have sugar in my coffee or not. Today, it is most definitely a Combi.

dstev2000's post in Dash camera was marked as the answerYou'll have to tap into a switched supply in the fuse box. The most common way is to use an 'add-a-fuse' and a new 12v cigarette lighter.
I've powered dash cams a few times in the past like this.
You can also tap into a permanent+switched feed via a power management unit that shuts down if the voltage dips too low. This means the camera can safely be used in a parking mode when you leave the car in a car park. Some cameras have this feature built in. If not, there are units like the Powermagic Pro that will do the job.
