Is this still popular on Octavias? Mine has developed a thrumming noise from the back that sounds like the tyres sawtoothing like they did on my last vRS. There is plenty of tread left on them and I can’t see any evidence so wanted to check before wasting time at the dealer or buying £400 of tyres for little benefit.

The lease does not include maintenance.

The real 245 also has black exhaust trim which I don’t think the standard car has.

My dealer is trying to sell me an air con service. The car is 2 years old. Is this needed For a ‘full service history’, especially as the car is a lease car.

Are they easy to install and hide the cables? I have seen them for sale where the power is taken from the OBD socket.

I have a 2018 vRS 245 and in the past 3 months, I’ve had to top up the coolant twice. I’ve used the VW coolant and each top up has only been 50-100mls. Is this level of usage normal on this engine? I’ve had diesel cars for the last 12 years and they never seemed to use a drop.
