did all mk1 vrs octavias come with multi changers if so were are they?

hi, thanks yet again, going to look at a red one on sat, has already had cambelt, waterpump, tensioners. its a 2001 on a y, with 67000. were as the other one is 2003 on a 52. with 47000, but nothing on the belt being done and it has a towbar, which makes me wonder what condition the clutch would be in?

I think the 52 one is probably about due a cambelt on mileage. I'd not be concerned about the fact of a towbar; they're not all used to haul 201 long "mobile homes" after all. If it worries you, then look for trailers at the seller's house if private sale, and ask for contact details from a dealer.
