Anyone know how involved it is to remove the shifter on the automatics, I know how to get the top cover off, but I need to replace the whole stick to fix a broken button, £25 part so it's reasonable, but how does it secure to the gearbox, work an answer assuming I've removed the chrome surround and unbolted the black plastic under it.

Would ETKA or similar help this? I've no idea, but the exploded diagram might shed some light.

Failing that, has Lummox done anything like this on a Superb/Passat/A6?
