Help from the wise

As said -car 2004 TDI Classic ,getting a bit peed off without remote locking ,so project 2 ,add central locking to remote hatch release (which was easy )

Now some indication that car has locked would be nice and simple solution would be to use hazards to indicate this - short out hazard switch for circa 2secs to give 1/2 flashes of hazards .Electronics easy , but looking at Haynes - switch for hazards goes back to control system ,so I would assume indicator timing is done by on board electronics via ECU .Anyone know if signal is indication at low (i.e less thansay 2a ) or full hazard curent - of something else .(To bone idle to takeoff switch ,but then ain't got a meter that will store peak/max current )

For anyone in the know , what I'm interested in is current in leg from pin 3 of hazard switch to control unit and is this a bus or otherwise .
