on springs! could ARB wear show itself as a definate (TECH speak) Boing! being transmitted up the spring when turning tight corners slowly?Had them checked on a ramp, and no broken springs or movement apparant, frustraiting/worrying--thoughts?

Springs can break right up by the top mount, and the top bearing has been known to sieze. I presume the noise is when you're putting lock on and off, rather than turning on constant lock?

yes, it is, and today can see movement of spring under wing and at top :(-looks like a strip down.
