Fault code 01050

Featured Replies

Hi Guys.

Housemate has the following fault codes on her felicia:

Address 41: Diesel Pump Labels: 028-906-125.lbl

Part No: 028 906 125 B

Component: Saugdiesel FIA V01

2 Faults Found:

01050 - Glow Plug Monitoring

28-10 - Short to Plus - Intermittent

01204 - Engine Temperature Sensor (G27)

30-10 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent

Second one is easy to sort, but I can't find possible causes or even the fault code for the first on on the RossTech Wiki.

Anybody any suggestions as to what needs fixing on the first?

I'm thinking possibly just dead glow plugs that are now shorting.

i'll have a think about it mark, i'll give you a bell later

I might not be around on the phone this week mate, but if not just drop me a PM and I'll buy you a pint

i dont know if you got the message i sent you on your phone mate, but i reckon a dodgey glow plug relay is a likely candidate
