Skoda Felicia Pickup 1.9d

Featured Replies

hey all

need a little help here. my old boy is currently hunting for a general workhorse and has come across a 1999 's' registered 1.9d Skoda Pickup, im assuming that this will be the Felicia.

The advertiser says it has over 100k on the clock and that it has 14 service stamps. M.O.T is in place for another 12 months. Price is £1.1k.

That is all the info I have anything to watch out for with these?

Does the price sound ok?

Cheers for your help

As Long as its been well serviced, it sounds it has with 14 stamps, Ive seen theses engines with over 200k on them, £1100 sounds a bit steap tbf jus check the normal things cv gatters ect, great little work horses if you ask me, also check that it starts 1st time as I remember glow plug issues.

Regards,

Jason.

cheers fella... are these engines belts or chains?

No worries there belt drive, Im pretty sure its 80k Miles they have to be changed, Regards, Jason.

1k sounds fairly good to me for a diesel one, especially considering it's got a years ticket on it too.

one thing to check on these is around the rear suspension top mounts, they are prone to rusting through so have a good look,
