OK, so had some work done on my car and the Sat Nav unit is now asking for the code.

I don't have a card with it on (not given at time of purchase).

The Skoda garage requested the code on Wednesday (however they do) and today asked for the car back to get the serial number of the Nav unit as they can't get the code without this.

As I'm selling the car the tomorrow (already pushed back the sale a week) is there anyway to get the code instantly? I really need to get this sorted as I about to lose the sale of the car.

Also just spoken to another Skoda garage who have said they can hook the car up and get the code straight away (well a 20 min job) - does that sound right?

Thanks simbo99 - I've got the car booked in for 8:30 so hopefully it will be sorted by 9 - I'm knackered if it isn't!!
