My Fabia VRS has been lowered 35mm. The Xenon lamps seem to have a short distance to them when on. :confused:

Has anyone had the xenon lamps aligned? If so how much was the labour rate?

hi mate

well the fabia has the lamps set to point to the floor from the factory and are supposed to be adjusted at pdi (although never are) VAG com is req to do the job as is a headlamp beam setter. s unless there are any specialist VAG workshops around you then its skoda im afraid. id say 30 mins labour charge would be about fair/max cost. i had mine set at a local specialist and the difference is night and day (exvuse the cheep joke/pun)

yea its lowered 25mm on eibachs. where are you in the west mids?

hmm perhaps a bit far but i had mine done at DSB autocare in bulwell nottingham.the alignment was a free adjustment but i am a very good customer . there services are highly recomended as been posted on brisk before (do a search).

My girlfreinds vrs has exactly the same problem. Theyre ****e!! I got all excited about them and was bitterly dissapointed. You had a good old convo going on the gti-6 forum (sarahsix)

I paid £35 for a Skoda main dealer to do it, but it was in Swindon...

It did make a difference, although they're still not as good as I were hoping they would be!
