Can anybody help?

Recently lost the use of my electric windows both sides.

Checked the fuses and replaced a faulty on which has solved the issue.

However i am now unable to open the passenger side window from the driver side button.

Not sure why this has occured.

maybe the switch is faulty, hence the original fuse blow

It is a new switch and so was hoping that wasn't the issue.

My dad had a similar problem with his Scoob, he took the switch apart and cleaned the contacts, Cured

What issue did he have.

Both windows open fine from their respective door controls but cannot get the driver side to activate the passenger window.

Possibly a setting gone wrong or is there a fuse i am missing?

Try disconnecting/reconnecting the battery, though you may have to recode the radio, set the clock, the MFD data will be lost and the one touch on the windows will have to be reset.

I did disconnect the battery which solved the problem temporarily.

Even had the windows open by turning the key in the lock which has not worked since i have had the car.

Now back to the same old problem no passenger window from the drivers door.

Anyone know what controls the passenger window from drivers door.

I have been told there is a convenience control unit in the driver door is this true. And if so where can i find out the part number so i can buy a replcement.
