last couple of days i have noticed a clicking sound from the fuse box. Everytime this clicking starts i loose blowers/wipers/lights.

I am presuming it is a relay in the fuse box ???

my question is can anyone confirm this and how easy is it to replace (pull out - plug new in )

many thanks

ok now this will sound strange....

check the yellow wire that is on to the starter motor, make sure it has a bood contact etc as this wire earths the relay for the electrics(it also triggers the starter v complecated)

either its breaking where it attaches or you have water in the fuse box

cheers will check that in morning

also planned to wire brush earth leads/battery leads etc

fuse box seems dry no sign of water/drips on the mats???

i suppose it could also be the relay itself but we have repaired so many of the starter wires compared to replacing the relay's.

prob the wire breaking up near the spade terminal on the starter

will check it all out

only get wipers/blowers etc when car in neutral or by dipping the clutch when running they come straight back on

yep defo the wire then as the engine is loaded up it rocks forward on the mounts which will be moving the wire slightly..

the relay does everything that works with the ign on except the engine itself. check for the wires broken inside the insulation by having the ign on and the heater fan going on pos 2 then wiggle the wire on the starter and see if the fan stops

simply a genius no other words to describe you

cleaned the terminal on the starter and the yellow wire.
