Hi all

came across this site when looking into a problem with my car.

octavia 1.9tdi (It's second-hand 2008 model)

Enginer fan keeps cutting in - even when parked / locked up .

It had been Known for me to disconnect the battery to make sure it doesn't go flat over night !

had it in the Garage friday and they replaced the wiring to the fan - "Known problem with the connector to the fan unit holding water !"

I only Brought this from a Garage less then 2 months ago

so not a happy chap with the garage as they where happy to show me on the invoice they do a 121 point check !

Still a good ride and hopefully the problem is fixed now !
